505 Double Bowl Stainless Steel Sink
The 505 equal double bowl undermount sink is constructed from 304 grade stainless steel and is available in your choice of 18 or 16 gauge thicknesses. The surface has a brushed satin finish to help mask small scratches that occur over time and keep your sink looking beautiful for years. The overall dimensions of the 505 are 30 1/8" x 18 1/2" x 7" and a 30" minimum cabinet size is required. This sink contains a 3 1/2" offset drain, is fully insulated and comes with sound dampening pads. As always, our stainless steel sinks are covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink.

I needed a double bowl sink that fit in a 33" wide sink cabinet and was no more than 8" deep - this sink fit the bill. I did find a similar sink from another supplier, but it was almost $200 more. It looks to be of good quality and after 1 month of use, I have no complaints. The only problem I found occurred when I received the sink. I measured the thickness of the metal with a micrometer and mine measured 0.048" thick on the top and 0.036" thick at the drain, which according to gauge charts indicates 18 gauge and 20 gauge, respectively, not the 16 and 18 gauge advertised. After inquiring about this apparent deficiency and feeling assured that the sink was still a good quality sink, I did decide to keep the sink. After all, my alternative was to return the sink and buy the 18 gauge sink (same as this one measured) from the competitor at almost $200 more. With this being said, the thickness of my sink (even though it only measures 18 gauge) is more than adequate, and I have found no other problems with the construction or quality of it.

I originally bought the 504 but then realized that it was too big for my cabinet. (oops!) I was able to exchange it for the 505 with no problem. The girl on the phone was very nice and helped me get the right sink in no time. The 505 fits fine and looks great. Thanks for your help!
