Our 848 TruGranite sink is comparable to Kindred's kgs1u/8 in strength and style. Both are an undermount installation, but only ours adds silver ions to kill 99% of bacteria on contact. Both sinks offer a variety of colors and are similar in size, but differ in price.
848-White Large Single Bowl Undermount TruGranite Kitchen Sink
The TruGranite 848 white large single bowl undermount sink is made from a granite composite material that is comprised of 80% Quartzite and 20% Acrylic. Silver ions are added to the sink during the manufacturing process that kill 99% of bacteria on contact. Aside from being anti-bacterial, the 848 is stain and scratch resistant and can resist heat up to 550 degrees. The overall dimensions of the sink are 32 5/8" x 18 3/8" x 9 1/4" and a 33" minimum cabinet size is required. The sink contains a 3 1/2" offset drain and is available in multiple colors. As always, our TruGranite sinks are covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink.

Q. How many strainers do I need to purchase?A. 1. There are no strainers included with the purchase of the sink.

Q. Why is there no option for the Standard Strainer?A. Due to the thickness of the sink, the Standard Strainer is not compatible. All of our TruGranite sinks require the Basket Strainer.
