Cold Rolled Steel

Our stainless steel sinks are made from 304 steel and our USA Made sinks are made from 300 series stainless steel. The chemical property, composition, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance provide the best all-around performance at relatively low costs for both sink lines.

Most of our stainless steel sinks are made by rolling out a sheet of cut steel and laying it over a die. The die is then pressed to form the shape of the sink. Our 90 degree sinks are made by welding the seams of one solid sheet of stainless steel together. All four sides of the specially cut piece of steel are folded upward and joined together to form 90 degree angles.

Fully Insulated

All of our stainless steel sinks come fully insulated, which helps prevent dripping and condensation buildup under the sink and into your cabinet. If condensation builds in your sink cabinet, mold and allergens can develop and become a serious risk. In addition, coat of barrier formula is sprayed on the bottom for extra protection. As another way of insulating, sound dampening pads are added to stainless steel sinks to minimize the “tin” sound when water is running or dripping.

Gauge

Our stainless steel sinks are available in 16 gauge, 18 gauge or both.16 gauge is 25% thicker than 18 gauge steel and is available on almost every undermount sink. The stainless steel has a brushed finish that helps conceal small scratches that may occur over time.
