Whether it’s due to a large family constantly cooking, or children tending to toss, rather than set, dishware in the sink; in some kitchens, a little more strength is required. MR Direct addresses this need with a number of 16-gauge, undermount, stainless steel, kitchen sinks. These basins are 25% thicker than the industry-standard 18 gauge. When a 16-gauge, under-the-counter sink is installed; it can be in a positive, negative, or flush reveal. Any of these options adds to the contemporary appeal of an undermount sink.
MR Direct, 16-gauge, stainless steel, undermount sinks are made to last. Many models have additional thicknesses available, as well. Only 304-grade or 300-series stainless steel is used. No condensation problems will occur, because of the spray insulation of our sinks; and any noise is significantly reduced by pads applied on the exteriors. Inside and out, a satiny brushed appearance adds beauty and reduces the visibility of any minor scratches.
Regular cleaning with a mild soap and water will keep the stainless steel glistening. To avoid water spots, the basin should be wiped with a soft cloth or sponge after each use. Abrasive cleansers and stiff bristle brushes should always be avoided. Harsh chemical formulations can also ruin the luster of metal.
