Summary
The 909 oval single bowl undermount or topmount sink is made from 99% pure-mined copper. It is comprised using one piece construction, giving you a very strong and durable copper sink. Since copper is naturally anti-bacterial and stain resistant, it is great for busy households that benefit from low-maintenance materials. The hammered finish looks great and provides a mask for small scratches that may appear over time. Not installed yet I recommend half inch overhang drop in not top mount. Well packaged overall appearance is nice!! I'm glad I purchased it, but I wouldn't want it as a to mount sink

Beautiful and unique
I love this sink, it is modern and unique compared to other copper bowls I have looked at. The price made me question the quality until it arrived and I fell in love with it. To my surprise it is oval not round. The image is a bit deceiving on the shape. The template that it comes with it is helpful but not totally accurate. We had to keep cutting the counter top base to get it right but it turned out beautiful.

great sink
We love the sink. Wish I could send a photo of it in our aromatic cedar bathroom countertop. Be aware that the drain tailpiece hole needs to be enlarged to accommodate a standard 1.25" drain assembly. I also had to fabricate an extension from 1.5" sch 40 pvc for the overflow/drain closer, (about 1" long), since most standard sinks have the overflow built in. Use plumber's putty to seal the contact point at the bottom of the sink. No problem though and the end result is beautiful. Thank you MR Direct for fast service and for a great product.

Received the copper vessel bowl that I ordered last week. It is absolutely beautiful and compares to several I have seen locally that are selling for $495.00 to $695.00. I paid $109.00 plus $14.95 shipping. the process of purchasing the sink was very easy and after several days I received a tracking number so I know exactly when it would be delivered. It was packaged very well and even had a nice drawstring bag so that it wouldn't be scratched. This is the 2nd sink I have ordered in the past month, as we are building a rec. room and bath downstairs. I couldn't be happier with the services provided by MrDirect.com I would not hesitate to order from this company in the future.

How is this sink mounted?This is an undermount or topmount sink.

Will the color of my copper sink change over time?Yes. Since we use only mined copper for our sinks, the natural patina on the surface will begin to change color over time. The patina helps to heal minor scratches and blemishes that can occur over time.

Are your copper sinks made by hand?Yes. Our copper sinks are hand-hammered by copper artisans.

Do you offer copper drains with your copper sinks?Yes. We offer copper drains and flanges exclusively for our kitchen copper sinks. We do not carry copper drains for our bathroom copper sinks.

Are your copper sinks antimicrobial/antibacterial?Copper as an element is naturally antibacterial/antimicrobial. Our sinks are 99.9% copper and surely do kill much of the bacteria they come into contact with. The EPA has guidelines for advertising amount of bacteria killed within certain time frames. MR Direct makes no assessment on how much bacteria % is killed per hour. Our copper products are not sold as a health product as we believe all customers buy them for their unique look and aesthetics. As such we recommend you make your purchasing choice based on the size and look of the product as we do not make claims on just how much bacteria is killed.
