Taking care of your porcelain sink is easy and requires very little work to maintain its beautiful finish. It’s as simple as gently wiping down the surface with a soft sponge and some soapy water.
If you’re trying to tackle stains, let bleach do the hard work. Wet some paper towels with the solution (use a spray bottle to keep it from getting on your hands) and wipe away those blemishes!
Stainless Steel Sinks
Stainless Steel Sinks
The secret to cleaning a stainless steel sink is vinegar. It’s not just an old wives’ tale! Undiluted white vinegar disinfects and removes stains from steel.
Once you’ve given your sink a good vinegar bath, (don’t be afraid to scrub with a soft sponge, too, your steel sink can handle it) place the stopper in to fill the bottom with club soda, working it through the vinegar solution. Wipe down the sink with this bubbly beverage and rinse away with pure water to give it an extra bright shine!

Copper Sinks

Copper sinks look amazing, but they require the right attention to maintain their charm. For example, avoid harsh acidic cleaning chemicals that can damage the finish.
To clean your copper sink, use a soft towel and warm soapy water to keep it looking beautiful for days. Luckily, copper sinks aren’t very susceptible to stains, so you shouldn’t need to do too much maintenance to retain its beauty.
TIP: Take the extra step and protect the sink’s precious patina by using a copper wax every so often.

Concrete is super tough, but the sealant of your concrete sink may not be, so it’s best to use mild cleaners and warm water when cleaning.
Luckily, most concrete sinks are scratch and stain resistant, so you can give them a good scrubbing without risking any damage.
Quartz Granite Sinks
Quartz Granite Sinks
Quartz granite sinks are stain and scratch resistant and are fairly easy to maintain, so upkeep won’t keep you up!
Their stunning appearance is proven to last a lifetime, but like other sinks, harsh cleaners and ammonia can cause damage. Hard water (water with a high mineral content) can also cause discoloration, so be sure to dry your sink after each use to avoid any trouble.
