Metal sinks, in particular stainless steel sinks, have long been popular for use in both the kitchen and the bath. MR Direct offers two single bowl stainless steel sinks for the bath; each with the option of being mounted above or below the vanity top. The styles for the kitchen are far more varied. The best-sellers are undermount stainless steel sinks, in any number of shapes and sizes. Choices include: stainless steel double sinks, single bowl stainless steel sinks, and even apron stainless steel sinks. Traditional topmount stainless steel sinks are still quite popular as well.
Contemporary stainless steel sinks from MR Direct are made to last. They may be as thin as 24 gauge; or as bold as a commercial 14 gauge. These are heavy duty stainless steel kitchen sinks. Quality 300 series metal is used in some discount stainless steel sinks, but most are made of premium 304 grade. A brushed satin finish adds a touch of class and protection to the sink. There is no need to worry about condensation or loud noise, as the exterior pads and spray coating prohibit both.
For the most part, a simple wipe down with a soft cloth after each use will keep your stainless steel sink looking like new. If you fall behind in daily cleaning, a weekly application of a mild cleanser with a rinse-down afterwards; will restore the original shine. Harsh chemicals or very abrasive cleaners can ruin the luster of the metal.
