Shop NowThe glass vanity sinks of MR Direct are a very safe, strong, and beautiful addition to the bath. Firing at extreme temperatures, followed by a quick cooling, results in a hard, seasoned material. This tempering makes the glass nearly impossible to break; but if it ever did, it would shatter into small pebbles of glass rather than dangerous jagged shards. Our glass bathroom sinks are quite thick, ranging from one-half to three-quarters' of an inch; and they will withstand extreme water temperatures. Durability never looked as good as it does in an MR Direct glass vessel sink.
Vessel glass bathroom sinks are available in round, square, rectangular, and even irregular organic shapes. When it comes to colors and effects, the choices are abundant and beautiful. There are simple colored glass vessel sinks; either translucent or opaque. Some styles are crystal clear. Foiled glass vanity sinks are embedded with all sorts of designs which add even more dazzle to the already brilliant glass. Likewise printed glass sinks display a pattern throughout the bowl. Textured glass bathroom sinks add another dimension, as do frosted glass lavatory sinks. Some models are even hand-painted.
The care of a colored glass vessel sink is generally the same as any glass found in the home. Periodic use of standard glass cleaners, or a mild soap and water wash-down, will remove any grease, grime, or hard water marks. Being non-porous, our glass is very sanitary and will not easily absorb any odors or stains. The interiors are always highly-polished and smooth, resulting in a stunningly brilliant appearance. The exteriors can be treated likewise, however many are textured, frosted, or given a matte finish. An ammonia based cleaner is recommended for these types of surfaces.
