No scraps or recycled metals are ever used in the manufacture of our sinks. Only 99%-pure, newly-mined copper sheets are fashioned into one of our numerous copper sink styles for the kitchen. Most sinks are finished with a decorative pattern of divots, hammered into the surface. These impressions actually strengthen the metal, besides adding to copper's distinctive, old-world character.
The beauty of copper can be flaunted in the kitchen with a copper undermount sink, a drop-in copper sink, or a copper farmhouse sink (also referred to as a copper apron sink). Whichever style is chosen, over time, the patina will blossom; and the divots and other dimensional designs will darken at differing rates. The variation of these copper tones turns each copper kitchen sink into a masterpiece of ancient design.
