Shower & Tub Faucets

The MR Direct shower and tub sets come in an array of styles to compliment any home decor and most are available in three finishes. Shower sets are sold with a shower head, a shower handle, a faucet, and are available as a multi-function spray or rainfall spray. Each style creates a relaxing shower experience and has a limited temperature stop in each faucet eliminates the possibility of scalding due to pressure changes. Our tub faucets are a great compliment to any bathtub and the 6"-24" center-set offers flexibility in installation.

Features & Benefits
Finishes

Most of our faucets are available in brushed nickel, chrome, and antique bronze finishes. Chrome has traditionally been the most popular choice for bathroom faucets as it is neutral and reflects colors that already exist in the room. Brushed nickel has a lightly textured finish that helps to eliminate small scratches that may occur over time making it a great choice for busy households. Antique bronze has a rich, dark finish of chocolatey gray hues and subtle underlying copper tones.

All of our finishes are applied with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) and will not chip or flake. PVD is a process that includes a group of vacuum coating techniques that deposit a layer of metal coating over the faucet. This enhances the properties and performance of the faucet material and helps to mask minor scratches that may happen.

Ceramic Disc Cartridges

Single and double handled faucets use disc cartridges to internally control water pressure and temperature mixing. Our faucets use ceramic disc cartridges rather than plastic disc cartridges because they are higher quality and require less frequent repairs. In single-handled faucets, the spout is opened or closed when the two seals surrounding the ceramic disc cartridge slide over each other. In double-handled faucets, the spout is opened or closed by a quarter turn cartridge that operates from full-off to full-on in the span of a 90° handle rotation.
