Stainless Steel Apron Sinks

Our stainless steel sinks are made from 304 steel and have a variety of bowl options. The chemical property, composition, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of our stainless steel provides the best all-around performance at a relatively low cost. Stainless steel also has a brushed satin finish that works to conceal small scratches that may occur over time. Most of our stainless steel sinks are made by pressing a sheet of rolled out steel over a die to form the shape of the sink.

Apron sinks are mounted either over or under the countertop depending on your preference, and are becoming increasingly popular in many styles of kitchens. They vary in height usually running about nine inches tall and jut out from the cabinetry by an inch or two helping to avoid any damage to cabinets below. The front of the sink remains exposed and finished with a sleek, brushed satin finish which can add a contemporary feel to the room. Contact your cabinet fabricator before purchasing an apron sink because it requires special planning before installation.

Features & Benefits
Fully Insulated
All of our stainless steel sinks come fully insulated to help prevent dripping and condensation buildup under the sink and into your cabinet. If condensation builds in your sink cabinet, mold and allergens can develop and become a serious risk. A coat of barrier formula is sprayed on the bottom of the sink to protect the sink. In addition, sound dampening pads are added to minimize the “tin" sound when water is running or dripping.
Gauge
Our stainless steel sinks are made from 16, 18, 20, or 24 gauge steel. Gauge sizes are numbers that indicate the thickness of the sheet stainless steel the sink is made from, with a higher number referring to a thinner sheet. For example, a sink constructed from 16 gauge steel is 25% thicker than a sink that is constructed from 18 gauge steel.
